Memberships

The U.S. Hemp Roundtable is a 501(c)(4) non-profit lobbying organization consisting of dozens of hemp companies and the industry’s major national grassroots organizations. Their mission includes focused lobbying efforts in state capitals to fully legalize hemp and hemp-derived products, facilitating information exchange with law enforcement and federal agency officials, and continued long-term legislative advocacy on other major policy issues.

Bluebird Botanicals is honored to be a member and avid supporter of theHemp Industries Association.“The Hemp Industries Association (HIA) is a non-profit trade group representing hemp companies, researchers and supporters. We are at the forefront of the drive for fair and equal treatment of industrial hemp. Since 1994, the HIA has been dedicated to education, industry development, and the accelerated expansion of hemp world market supply and demand.”  

TheAmerican Herbal Products Association(AHPA) is the national trade association and voice of the herbal products industry. It is comprised of more than 350 member companies, consisting primarily of domestic and foreign companies doing business as growers, manufacturers, and marketers of herbs and herbal products such as foods, dietary supplements, cosmetics, and non-prescription drugs, as well as companies that provide expert services to the herbal trade. Brandon Beatty currently serves on AHPA’s board of trustees as well as its Government Relations and Cannabis committees. Likewise, Bluebird’s Director of Operations Dave Sommer serves on AHPA’s Standards and Lab & Analytics committees. 

ASTM International, formerly known as American Society for Testing and Materials, is an international standards organization that develops and publishes voluntary technical standards for a wide range of materials, products, systems, and service.Bluebird is a member of ASTM International D37 Committee on Cannabis and several of its subcommittees.
